ClearLift Laser Treatment Brisbane

Visible fine lines, changes in skin tone, and changes in skin firmness can develop over time. ClearLift is a laser treatment that targets deeper layers beneath the skin’s surface. A consultation with Dr Scott or Nurse Laura can help confirm whether ClearLift is suitable for your skin and concerns.

What Is ClearLift?

ClearLift is a non-ablative, fractional laser treatment that works beneath the surface of the skin without disrupting the outer layer (the epidermis). Delivered via the Alma Harmony XL Pro platform, it uses a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser at a 1064 nm wavelength to deliver precise energy into the deeper layers of the skin (the dermis), where collagen and elastin are produced.

ClearLift is a laser treatment that works beneath the skin’s surface and can support collagen over time, which may help with changes in skin tone, texture, and firmness. Because it doesn’t treat the outer skin layer, it does not cause peeling or damage to the skin surface. Sessions are often around 20–30 minutes, depending on the area treated.

What Can ClearLift Address?

ClearLift may be considered for a range of skin concerns across the face, neck, upper chest, and eye area, including:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles across the face, neck, and upper chest
  • Skin laxity and reduced firmness, particularly around the jawline
  • Enlarged pores and changes in skin texture
  • Hyperpigmentation, sunspots, and age spots
  • Melasma (patchy facial pigmentation)
  • Mild acne scarring
  • Dark circles and changes around the eye area
  • Redness and rosacea

Because ClearLift delivers energy beneath the skin rather than via surface heat, it can be used safely in the area around and beneath the eyes — a zone where many other laser systems are not used.

The ClearLift Treatment Process

A ClearLift session generally involves the following steps:

1. Consultation: Your treatment begins with a personal consultation with Dr Scott. He will assess your skin, discuss your concerns, and develop a tailored treatment plan based on your individual skin type and goals.

2. Preparation: The treatment area is cleansed. No numbing cream or anaesthetic is required prior to treatment.

3. During the session: The Alma Harmony XL Pro handpiece is passed over the skin in a controlled pattern. Energy pulses are delivered beneath the skin’s surface. Most patients describe the sensation as a mild warmth or gentle tapping.

4. Session duration: Each session typically takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the area being treated and your individual treatment plan.

5. Treatment course: A course of 3 to 6 sessions, spaced approximately 3 to 4 weeks apart, is typically recommended. Dr Scott will advise on the appropriate number of sessions for your individual situation. Maintenance sessions every 6 to 12 months may help sustain results over time.

Results and Recovery

ClearLift works beneath the skin’s surface without disrupting the outer skin layer. Some patients may experience mild redness or a sense of skin tightness immediately after treatment; this typically resolves within a few hours.

Some patients may notice small changes after the first session, though results vary. Any changes typically develop gradually over 4 to 6 weeks following the completion of a treatment course, as the skin’s own collagen continues to remodel. ClearLift is suitable across all skin types and tones (Fitzpatrick I–VI), including darker skin tones that may be more sensitive to other laser systems.
